Undoubtedly one of Quebec’s fastest growing communities in the recent past, the explosion in development has been both residential and commercial. Geographically, VD is located just west of the tip of Montreal, north-west of L’Ile Perrot, and south-central of the Hudson/St-Lazare corridor. The bilingual community boasts shopping, restaurants, and other facilities second to none. The older Dorion part of town is home to huge mature trees, charming homes and a busy village area while the Vaudreuil sector is primarily newer construction projects although some gorgeous character homes dot the lakefront and surrounding streets. Travel to the west island by car is about 15 minutes and aprrox 35-40 minutes downtown Montreal.
