Geographically, VD is located just west of the tip of Montreal, north-west of LIle Perrot, and south-central of the Hudson/St-Lazare corridor. The bilingual community boasts shopping, restaurants, and other facilities second to none. The older Dorion part of town is home to huge mature trees, charming homes and a busy village area while the Vaudreuil sector is primarily newer construction projects although some gorgeous character homes dot the lakefront and surrounding streets.
